Eight years ago he moved to the North Shore of Oʻahu, where he shapes and glasses his own boards and works at Murray Glassing in the historic Old Waialua Sugar Mill, doing sanding and color work for some of surfing's most respected shapers. His designs are inspired by the wide variety of waves around the island.
