The WTT (Wing Twin Trailer) is Rob Lan's high performance twin fin shortboard, built and tested in serious waves on the North Shore of Oʻahu. It's a barrel hound that gets you tucked under the lip, makes speed with very little effort, and holds up when you lean hard on a rail in a way a lot of twins can't. If you ride a thruster and want something that gets up to speed with less work, or you ride a traditional twin and want more stability when it gets critical, this is the one.

WHY WE PICKED THIS BOARD

We picked the WTT because it's a twin you can actually surf hard. It was dialed in on some of the best waves in the world, it gets speed for free, and it doesn't wash out when you put it on rail. When the swell shows up, this is a fun alternative to your thruster.

ABOUT THE SHAPER

Rob Lan grew up skating in Brooklyn, New York, and built his first surfboard from a kit before he really knew how to surf. Eight years ago he moved to the North Shore of Oʻahu, where he shapes and glasses his own boards and works at Murray Glassing in the historic Old Waialua Sugar Mill, doing sanding and color work for some of surfing's most respected shapers. His designs are inspired by the wide variety of waves around the island. In 2025 he was a finalist in Vissla's Just Add Color competition and took 2nd Place Best in Show at the Boardroom Show.
